UPGRADE ISSUES - Laptops v Desktops Laptops might well be smaller, more convenient and portable than your average desktop computer. Upgrading a laptop is more limited than a desktop. In time they will become obsolete and often more quickly than the equivalent desktop. Most laptops will allow the memory or hard disk to be upgraded.
